We are simply a group of believers that meet in each others’ homes weekly to read Scripture, ask questions about it, discuss it, eat together, pray together, encourage one another, sing together, take part in what is traditionally termed ‘communion,’ and live life together.
I could write pages about it, and I intend to publish something eventually, but suffice it to say that we don’t feel the need to be loyal to a specific denomination, a choreographed service, or ‘church’ as it is culturally understood.
Once upon a time, Church was a movement, not a place to go. We are part of The Church — the body of Jesus — simply by being believers in and followers of him, and we believe that meeting together does not need to be formal, complicated, or micromanaged. We don’t have a website, programs, or even a name. We love getting to know God, and we want to love him and others well. Those are the basics of off-the-grid church. ;)
