I believe that it’s also important for women to not only refuse to condone men’s objectification of women, but also for women to refuse to objectify men. Objectifying men is quite common, and perhaps it is even a reaction by women against being objectified — an easy step. Men are often casually “evaluated” based on their physical and sexual attractiveness, to the point of divorcing their personhood from their sex appeal. It’s the other side of the coin that is also helpful to discuss if we want the habit and the culture to change.
