Interesting to find several of us have been thinking the same things. I am curious to see where I eventually land, on this one. I did think, as I studied the affirmation, while writing this piece, that it does say “through the use of my creativity.” I think there is space, here, to recognize that using my creative gifts, recognizing their source in my Creator, has intrinsic value. Perhaps not every single thing made with my creative gifts is arbitrarily “pleasing” to him. Still working on the threads tangled up in this one… It’s an interesting question.
