Ah. Now I understand why I really struggle to create time to eat with friends who have totally different diets than our family does. I don’t feel the same freedom to express my love for them through food as I usually would. Maybe this is simply an opportunity to show greater love, by getting out of my comfort zone with food, and doing the mental and emotional work of figuring out how to make what works for them?
